Get Involved

The Plan has been adopted. Now the real work begins, namely working to implement the strategies recommended in the Plan. So your involvement is as important as ever. Here's how.

Get on the Mailing List
The first step is to get on the mailing list by clicking here or by contacting the Martha's Vineyard Commission (or you could join the Network of Planning Advisors - see below).

Complete a Survey
We periodically conduct surveys seeking information and suggestions from you and your neighbors. Surveys are conducted electronically via this website and paper copies and boxes for depositing surveys are available at town libraries (look for the blue box).

There is no survey currently being conducted.

Join the Network of Planning Advisors
Join the group of people who followed the planning process closely, and whose members constitue the work groups on various topics that will play an important role in implementation. You can join by clicking here.

Participate in Forums and Workshops
As the work progresses, there will be forums, workshops, and other public meetings. Check the calendar to see the dates of upcoming activities.

Read and Contribute to On-Line Discussions

Click on the Discussions tab above to participate in on-line Discussion Boards about a variety of topics. You must be a member of the Network of Planning Advisors to post a message. Contact the Martha's Vineyard Commission for a user name and password.
