THE BUILT ENVIRONMENT DISCUSSION PAPER IS NOW AVAILABLE. 

 

The Built Environment Work Group has worked over the past few months to look at four topics:

  • Historic Resources
  • Community Character
  • Opportunity Areas
  • Green Building

A first draft of a summary document with possible goals, objectives, and strategies can be downloaded by clicking on "Built Environment Summary - Draft 3", to the left.

There was a meeting of the Built Enviroment Work Group held on Thursday, May 22, at 5:00 pm at the Martha's Vineyard Commission offices. The purpose of the meeting was to get feedback on the document, and to identify the highest priority objectives and strategies.

Please read over meeting notes and watch out for the discussion paper!

The Built Environment Summer Forum will be held at the Union Chapel in Oak Bluffs on August 4, 2008 at 7:30pm. See you there!
