The Energy & Waste Work Group presented its recommendations at a public forum on July 7, 2007 (see proceedings links at left).
The Work Group Core compiled a synthesis document (see synthesis link at left) in November containing background information, issues for the Vineyard, proposed goals and objectives addressing the issues, and specific strategies for addressing the issues. In December, a Steering Commitee worksession the core members of all the work groups deliberated on the proposed initiatives and ranked the relative priority of each.
The Energy & Waste Work Group core members are on hiatus and no longer routinely meet. Several members are working individually, however, to publicize the group's proposals and to initiate strategies.
