Social Environment refers to the community, social, and cultural aspects of the Vineyard. (This work group combines the Cultural and History topic and the Health and Education topic initially identified in 2006 as distinct areas of interest when developing the Island Plan.)

Links to background materials are located to the lower left of this page and include summaries of facts, and initial goals and targets discussed at a June 2006 Island Plan forum, and a discussion paper published in early 2009.

A forum was held on April 30, 2009. The proceedings will be posted here when they are completed.
